Introduction to the practice of clinical anesthesia. Overview of the anesthesiologist assistant profession, anesthesia care team (ACT), medical terminology, basic drugs, basic equipment, airway management, interpersonal communication, clinical/OR etiquette. Includes Basic Life Support (BLS).
