DMD 185 - Practice of Public Health



In this course, students apply the concepts taught in Principles of Dental Public Health to community-based experiences. Through service learning opportunities related to oral health, this course explores the role and responsibility of the dentist in the community. Topics include the role of the practicing clinician in community and population health, health equity, established and emerging models of health, and oral health care delivery systems.
